We’re very happy to invite you to Small Stories, a relaxed and welcoming open mic spoken word event for kids of all ages at Hart’s Books.

Children are invited to come along and read something they’ve written themselves, or share a poem or passage from a favourite book. The event is all about enjoying words, stories, and the confidence that comes from sharing them in a friendly, supportive space.

Small Stories is hosted by Bethany Callaway and is open to all ages and experience levels.

There will be free wine for parents and squash for kids, and we’d love to see you there for a cosy, creative afternoon at the bookshop.
